Together with Des Moines Orthopaedics Surgery, PC, we offer comprehensive pediatric orthopaedic services for infants, children and adolescents. Our multi-disciplinary team includes our orthopaedic surgeon, pediatric sub-specialists, residents, rehabilitation therapists, child life and surgery professionals. We work closely with the family and other care providers to achieve long-term improvement in the child's ability and function.
Should your child's treatment include surgery, we offer a dedicated pediatric surgery center at Blank Children's/Iowa Methodist. The surgery center offers a child-friendly waiting area, pre-operative area where you can remain with your child until he/she is taken to surgery, and child life to help children understand at their level what will happen in surgery.

Your Child's First visit
Your child's first visit to the Blank Children's Orthopaedic Clinic will probably be the longest. Please plan to be at the clinic for one hour. We ask that you arrive 15 to 20 minutes ahead of your child's appointment to complete medical history and insurance information forms.
